What is an "unconference"?
An unconference is an open forum of discussion among all like-minded people to exchange information and ideas rather than listening to a few key speakers in a traditional conference setting.
Why Richmond?
The inspiration began with our sister event, UXCamp DC. Since 2010, UXCamp DC put forth the goal to build and support a community of UX designers.
We were impressed with that model so much, a few folks from Richmond gathered our time and talents to curate this event for Central Virginia.
The unconference experience gives people a platform to share ideas freely, to build confidence, and make career-changing connections. People discuss topics that are important to them, not ones that picked by conference organizers.
Imagine yourself in a supportive place with design lovers like you.
